Financial Education is important for Financial Wellness

I plan ahead financially for my future by improving my financial education. No doubt academic education is important, financial education is even more important. In this time and age, it is very important for us to know how to manage our finances well so that we don’t spend beyond our means. However, that does not mean we should limit ourselves and not enjoy what life has to offer because we are limited by monetary resources.

Being financially savvy starts with taking out the first step to learn. Learning is a lifelong process which does not stop. It can takes place any time at any age, as long as we are willing to. We can start our financial endeavour by reading books related to wealth creation, attending workshops and seminars, learning from friends and families and the lists goes on. As there is a saying, if there is a will, there is a way.

No matter how far we are from the journey to financial freedom, all it takes is for us to keep on moving towards our goal by consistently improving our financial knowledge and taking actions that will contribute to our financial wellbeing. Nothing is impossible if we set our mind to it. The sky is not the limit, our mind is. So for my future, even though I am very far away from achieving financial freedom right now, I’ll not stop no matter how difficult it is to achieve financial freedom. Because tough times don’t last, tough people do.

I want to achieve financial freedom because I like to eat, I like to travel and I like to shop. I also would like to share my wealth with my family and friends. I also would like to share my wealth with those who are not as fortunate as I am. I believe in myself and I believe the goal is achievable, and all it starts with is myself.
